I can't believe it but Addie is almost here! Only 3 1/2 days left until my c-section! We have it scheduled for Monday the 12th at 7:30 am! I cannot wait for her to finally grace us with her presence! At my last doctor’s appointment she weighed right at 6 pounds, what a huge difference from Trey! Trey was born at 37 weeks and weighed 8 pounds 13 ounces! Talk about opposites! I go to see Dr. Rowe for my last appointment tomorrow and then for my hospital registration. I highly doubt anything will change but I will update this if it does!
Trey seems to be excited about Addie coming. He will tell me "get Addie out" and point to my stomach. We will see if he is still this excited once she is actually out and stealing some of "his" attention. I have a feeling we are going to have our hands full for a while until our little man adjusts to everything not totally revolving around him all the time.
Trey just started the summer school part of Mothers Day Out, which could not have been timed more perfectly! I think he likes it. His first day was Tuesday and he balled when DJ and I left him but his teachers said he only cried for a minute or two (thank goodness!), and then had a blast after that! It is definitely different not having Mrs. Smith and Mrs. Anne as his teachers but I think he will really like his new teachers once he gets more comfortable. He has several of his friends from Mrs. Smith’s class in his new class so he is really enjoying playing with them again. (I think he was getting a little bit tired of DJ and I all the time!)
Well that’s all for today! Next time I will update with pictures of our new little one!

7 weeks left!
I know I am terrible about updating this but I am going to try to be better. So much has been going on over the last month. I have been to see Dr. Rowe twice since the last update. Addie is doing great. She weighs 4 pounds 5 ounces right now and he thinks she is about 16 inches long. Each time I go to the doctors he does a "thorough ultrasound" and it takes about an hour. At my last appointment she was sucking her thumb almost the entire time, it was so sweet. We also got to watch her swallowing and practicing breathing. It is so amazing how big she is! We have tentatively scheduled my c-section for July 12th. (I am hoping that she will decide to come before that!) Well, school (Mother's Day out) is over until July and I cannot tell you how much we are all going to miss it. Trey LOVED it and it is so good for him to be around other kids his own age! But on the up side of school being out we get to sleep in a little later and not be so "scheduled". Each and every day I am truly amazed at all the new things that Trey either does or says. He never stops talking (and I do mean NEVER!) and about 99% of the time you can easily understand him. Right now his favorite thing to say is "what you doing Daddy(or Mommy or whoever he is wanting attention from)" and let me tell you it is the cutest thing in the world the first few times, even the first ten times but he seems to think that he needs to say it over and over and over again. He is definitely persistent! DJ got him a new baseball tee that shoots the balls out and Trey thinks it is the coolest toy in the world! And he can actually hit it! I think baseball is going to be his sport. (You know, since you can tell at the age of 2! haha) Another thing that Trey is into right now is the phone. He loves to call people and can hold on a conversation now. Last week he wanted to call DJ at work so we call him and Trey tells DJ..."Daddy no work..Daddy come home NOW!" It was the cutest thing! I think it actually melted a piece of DJs heart, especially since DJ can't just leave work to come home! Trey has become a Daddy’s boy to say the least, everything is about DJ. "Daddy can fik (Fix) it" "Daddy no work today" "Daddy number 1" (yes DJ taught him that) "Trey Daddy’s baby" and the list goes on and on and on. But he still loves to cuddle up in bed with me so I guess I have not been completely kicked to the curb yet! Well, I think that is all for today! Here are a few pictures from the several weeks

AWESOME news
We have had a wonderful week! Last Thursday we went to meet with Dr. Hollier and Dr. Roth (all in the same room which is almost a miracle!) and got wonderful news! Trey will not have to have another surgery until he is out of his toddler years! They want him to have plenty of time to be potty trained and develop so we can decide what all needs to be done at that point! So until then no more stays at Texas Childrens!!!! Dr. Roth also seemed quite impressed (which is a hard thing to do) that Trey has some control over his bladder! The reason we know this is because one night I was changing Trey and apparently was not paying enough attention and he pee'd in my face, it took me by total surprise and I laughed....when I started laughing he stopped peeing so I took the diaper back off and he looked at me, giggled and started peeing again (yes....in my face)...this went on several more times and I could not have been happier! Three years ago I would have been completely grossed out by having urine in my face but now I laugh instead, my how things change!
Yesterday was our wedding anniversary and when DJ asked me what I wanted all I could come up with was him cooking steaks and us going to bed early and that is exactly what we did! It was wonderful! I got 10 hours of sleep and feel like a new person! What a fantastic anniversary!
I get these emails that are called "baby updates" and they basically tell you what is going on in your belly. The update I got yesterday said that Addie would be "viable" if she were to be born at this point. Of course we want her to stay inside for another 2 1/2 -3 months but it was really exciting to know that she could survive! She is a little over 2 pounds and about 14 inches long. She is getting so big! DJ and I went to Babies'R'Us yesterday and got her "coming home outfit". I could not figure out why in the world I was so excited about this until it dawned on me that I did not get to pick out a coming home outfit for Trey. He just had a T-shirt to wear because we could not put anything on him! I think we made up for that down the road when he could wear clothes. He had more clothes than we knew what to do with and only wore about a tenth of them! Well that is all for today! I will add pictures soon!

Addie
DJ and I finally decided on a name a few weeks ago. Addison Elizabeth Nicholds! It was the ONLY name we both really liked...apparently we have completely different taste in girl names. Trey also likes her name. He kisses my belly and says "Addie", I think it's the sweetest thing I have ever seen!
I had a doctors appointment yesterday and all is well! Dr. Rowe said Addie looks great! She weighs about a pound and a half, give or take a few ounces, and she is about 11 inches long! He said in the next month she will double in weight. But the good news about her weight is that she will not be nearly as big as Trey!!! One other thing that he said was that she has "Angelina Jolie lips". He sent me home with a picture of her lips so I could show DJ. Only 3 months and she will be here!
We are enjoying this beautiful weather so much! We have gone down to the park almost everyday. (that is Treys favorite thing to do!) Yesterday we decided to change things up a bit so DJ decided it would be a great day for Trey to wash his Truck. He had a blast!!!
Next week we meet with Dr. Roth and Dr. Hollier to discuss Treys next surgery. I will update ya'll again after that!

Great news!
We went to the doctor again on Wednesday and we are having a HEALTHY little girl. The sonographer even said he would bet his paycheck on it!!! We got to watch her bladder empty and fill over and over again INSIDE her little body! It was such a great feeling! Dr. Rowe said the weighs around 11 ounces right now and from head to torso is a little bigger than a coconut!
Trey is starting to realize what is going on. Each night he kisses my belly before he goes to sleep! I hope that is a sign he is going to be a great big brother! (Daddy is relying on him to protect her like Josh did for me!)
Trey is becoming such a big boy (it kills me to say that!). He is talking so good and is becoming so independent! We went to Grandma and Grandads two days ago and Trey borrowed a shirt from Chase to wear to bed...well the next morning he would NOT take the shirt off! I begged and pleaded with him and he just kept saying "it's Chases'". It was so cute! Needless to say I did not make him take the shirt off and he went to school with the same shirt on that he slept in! (I know i know, I am a terrible parent!)
Here are a few of the pictures we just had made of Trey. He LOVED getting his picture taken. He posed great and said "cheese" over and over again!

Keeping everyone up to date!
Well I decided to try a blog so we can keep everyone up to date on what is going on with our expanding family! As most of you know we went to see Dr. Rowe (our maternal fetal specialist) a few weeks ago and he said he believes that the baby is healthy and he was 75-80% sure its a girl! We go in on February 2nd and will know for sure about the gender and if she is healthy! Dr. Rowe was pretty sure he saw a bladder inside the body (best news we could have ever heard!!). We will update everyone more on the new baby after our next appointment!
Now on to Trey! He is starting to say just about anything you tell him to! His new favorite word is "cheese" (which actually means please). He says "cheese" for just about everything he wants now! Hopefully that is not just a new phase and it sticks with him! Trey has decided that since I have a baby in my belly that he should too. Here are a couple pictures of him telling me where his baby is!
